It’s one thing to collect antique bikes, it’s another to actually ride them. When I found the Sears a few years ago, I thought it would be nice to get the old girl started and take her for a spin. However, finding the time to get her going proved to be difficult. That was, until the Motorcycle Cannonball came about and gave me the motivation I needed to carve out the time. Thanks to Lonnie Isam Jr. the idea of taking her for a ride will become a reality.

With the exception of including some sort of modern brake system, I plan to ride as close to original as possible. Hopefully nothing will crop up during Spring testing... we know how fickle ladies can be.

While the “race” will be in Class 3, and the “fun” in Class 1, the “competiton” will be in Class 2… See you guys at the starting line!
