The clip on footboard kit that my bike has differs as well from the 14 Harley fixed footboards in that the kit uses a "clip on" rear brake drum that is merely clamped onto the rear spokes just as a corbin speedo drive is. Does not inspire much confidence and I have never used this brake in anger relying instead on the coaster. This type of brake was used on the singles up to 1915 I believe.
