PAY it FORWARD
Morn n, 7/17/2012
Still not ready for the Ball, and do to some engine problems have it scrambled but going forward. sure like to thank everyone that’s helped with info and input. this may be different for others. but I have never put as much time, monies, and energy into preparing for a event let along ever being away from work for this length of time. I have to tip my hat to everyone pulling this off. then got to thinking of the folks from outside the USA entered in this. can t even wrap my head around the even more cost an logistics of doing this. you folks probably have this all figured out and taken care of, but I d like to offer the use of hand tools, acetylene/oxygen, compressor, and small lift if needed (hopefully not) along the route. luck to all. gary wright_welding@msn.com 719 661 5666 in colorado. |

RE: PAY it FORWARD
Gary.
Thanks for the offer of the use of your equipment Its reassuring to know that the tools are there should we need them.(hopefully not) I shipped my bike on Monday so apart from a few minor details my preparation time is over. It’s the same for most of us foreign entrants. Since September last year when I first decided that I just had to try and take part in this once in a life time event, all my spare time has been devoted to sourcing parts, building and preparing my bike for the event. Now that it’s on its way and I no longer can work on it I feel lost. Like you I have never taken this long a break from work before and I don’t think I have ever dedicated so much time effort and thought to a single project before. Good luck with your preparations see you at Newburgh (you’ve still got over a month to prepare) Pete Reeves #34 (ENGLAND) |

RE: PAY it FORWARD
It seems like a lot more of the conversation is happening on peoples' blog pages and over at the AMCA forum (though not that much there, either).
