Need someone good with Google Maps
As much as I would like to, I just don't have the time to start fidgeting with Google Maps and try to figure out how to lay out possible routes and stops, leg lengths, etc.
If someone wants to take it upon themselves to start working out routes, it would really help a lot. Start posting those route proposals in detail so we can start locking this in. Things to keep in mind: Start point End point Avoid freeways Avoid big cities Stopping at sponsors locations would be good, if possible good scenery Mountains Temperature/weather in September I am sure there are other things to consider, but this will give you a good start.

RE: Need someone good with Google Maps
I'm wondering how spread out the entrants are geographically? Input by folks on their own state would likley produce good results. We also need to know where the start and end is going to be so that the blanks can be filled in. We don't want somebody mapping out roads in Washington if the starting point is California........
I'd be glad to study some roads and offer input when the general consensus is ironed out. With more people signing on to this site we need more input... Speak up fellas!
