RE: Future Cannonball runs?
this seems to be a popular question. i have considered possibly doing this again. alot of it depends on how it goes this year. if it were to happen it would be much different. we would be looking for machines built from 1916 to 1929. like 1915 , 1929 was a pivotal year for the motorcycle ,and the end of an era in motorcycle design. i think this era of motorcycle would make for an amazing transcontinental run. pre16 will be something to see ,but its going to be long and grueling, and difficult to finish. with the later model bikes we can run farther ,utilize faster highways, climb bigger mountains, and have alot more fun. this would be possibly a 12 day event, starting in september, the weekend after davenport ,on either the west or east coast. if i get enough interested riders in the next 6 weeks ,i'll seriuosly consider it. so please let me know.

A 101? Nah, that would be too easy and comfortable. Cheers
