Eligible Motorcycles For Sale?
Anyone know of any eligible motorcycles (prefer Harley or Indian) for sale? Please let me know.

If this event becomes as popular as I think it might (at least with a limited but growing number of us loonies) we might find more pre-1916 motorcycles finding the light of day. And that would be great.

However, the prices of these old motorcycles might also climb higher than 1916 and later models.

I would say most run, but are they ready for 3,000 miles? There are plenty of pre-16 bikes out there that could be had for WAY less than what the Curtis brought. If you look hard, you may be able to find a runner for in the 20-30k range. Now that is still a lot of money, but you don't need the ultra-rare to run this race. In fact, it may be a bit silly to risk blowing it up, or worse. You could spend less than that if you want to run something British.

Buzz, the pre-16 stuff has been higher than the post-16 to mid '30's bikes as long as I can remember.

I knew a guy that found a bike there... I think it was a 1906 Kmoch. I'll see if I have pictures of it. It was pretty neat, kinda spindly. It was about 8k a few years back.
