Modoc, CA pre1916 run, June 23-26
The sign up sheet for the Modoc Small and Early Car and Motorcycle Tour came in my mail today. The ride is in Alturas, CA June 23-26, 2010. "For any size car 1907 and earlier, 1,2 or 3 cylinder cars 1915 and earlier and 1915 and older 1&2 cylinder motorcycles."

Mileage is about 80 miles per day on suitable roads. If you wanted, you could do each day's route twice to get in some 160 mile practice days...

Contact me if you want a copy of the sign up sheet, or photos from last year's event.

Regards,
Pete Young

If you want a chance to see some cool 100 year old cars, and ride your pre16 bike on a practice run, the Alturas tour is later this month.

Here are some photos from last year:

WOW!
That looks like the coolest run on the planet. A virtual rolling museum in some of the freshest air there is. I'll bet it would be impossible to wipe the smiles off of everyones faces that weekend.
