GPS
\I wish to have the No GPS rule removed.
First off its a rule that will be very hard to enforce 2nd cell phones have GPS and we are allowed cell phones again making it a hard rule to enforce 3rd Its a safety factor (If I got hurt I can use my GPS navi to get me to a hospital or to inform medics of my location. 4rd convenience It will allow us to find parts store's and fuel quickly 5th The route that we are taking is probably not the same as the GPS/Navi would chose so as long as we stay on track using the GPS/Navi provides no advantage. |

RE: GPS
I second Sean's Motion! I would also like to add a 6th point, I have no sense of direction and will probably get lost so it would help me out.

RE: GPS
I think the GPS rule is in direct response to keeping some of the large teams from California
from using their Satellite Telemetry trucks to monitor remotely their engine parameters. These remote mobile communications centers would certainly put the more modestly funded teams at a disadvantage. |
